Ed Brooks Sandwich Ministry

The Curé d’Ars Sandwich Ministry began in September 2010. Its mission is to be the hands of Jesus Christ in feeding our brothers and sisters who struggle to find enough nourishment to help them through a day. This is in response to Jesus’ astonishing statement of ultimate guidance for daily living, “whatever you do to another, you do to me.” (Matthew 25:40)

The ministry prepares 100 sack lunches on the second and fourth Sundays of each month at 9:15 a.m. in the Parish Center, partnering with Catholic Charities Samaritan House, which distributes these sack lunches.

We invite you to participate in this Sandwich Ministry! How?

1) By being a volunteer to assist periodically in a 45-minute session preparing sandwiches; and/or

2) by contributing monetarily to help pay for the contents of the lunches prepared by the Sandwich Ministry.
